| Slower Lockages at Lower Monumental | |||||||||
There will be slower lockages at the Lower Monumental navigation lock from 0700-1500 on Tuesday, 17 February 2026.
Upstream and Downstream lockages will require approximately an additional 15 minutes to complete as the lock will be operating on one drain valve.
The effort removes one drain valve at a time from service to facilitate verification of feeder cable installation. This work is required ahead of the Navlock being taken out of service for the scheduled 2026 maintenance outage (21 February – 28 March 2026).
