TVA will be pulling a conductor line across the Emory River at mile 5 on February 9th – 12, 2026.  The project will take place during daylight hours only.  TVA will have two small vessels approximately ½ a mile above and below the line to warn any vessels approaching the area.  Vessels can still transit the area once communication has been established with the TVA vessels.  One safety vessel will have flashing white/yellow lights, and the TVA Police vessel will have flashing blue lights.  TVA vessels will be monitoring marine radio channel 16 for communication and safe clearance through the area.

All vessels are urged to transit this reach of the Emory River with caution.
