1. Amendment Details - The scheduled maintenance work is being postponed because of ongoing ice conditions on the river. A new navigation notice is being posted to address the revised details for upcoming work.

2.  To whom it may concern; Notice is given that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District will be closing the 56-ft x 3 60-ft lock chamber, at C.W. Bill Young to perform maintenance.  The maintenance will be performed February 17 through April 10, 2026.  A full river closure at C.W. Bill Young will be in effect during the maintenance.

3.  The availability of the lock chamber at C.W. Bill Young during the work period swill be as follows:                 

• 0600 February 17 through 2300 March 13 – CHAMBER CLOSED

• 0000 March 14 through 0559 March 23 – CHAMBER OPEN

• 0600 March 23 through 2359 April 10 – CHAMBER CLOSED

   

4.  All mariners in the area are requested to monitor marine radio channel 13 for updates and/or changes during this closure period.
