TENNESSEE-TOMBIGBEE WATERWAY, MISSISSIPPI & ALABAMA

Notice is given to mariners that all ten (10) locks on the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway (TTWW) will be open daylight hours only for the next two (2) days. Machinery and electronics systems issues are causing unreliable lock operations due to extreme weather conditions. This situation creates an unsafe operating environment for the user and the operator. The locks will be closed during the following times and will return to normal service once the temporary closures have expired:


          1800 Monday 26-Jan-2026 – 0600 Tuesday 27-Jan-2026
          1800 Tuesday 27-Jan-2026 – 0600 Wednesday 28-Jan-2026
