Reference Navigation Bulletin No. 26-08

Notice is given to mariners that the Tombigbee River is open effective immediately at River Mile 173 (Naheola Railroad Bridge). The bridge will be lowered back into the closed position at 1700 on Monday, 26 January for extreme weather conditions, closing navigation. The bridge will be reassessed for operations at 0900 on Tuesday, 27 January.

Coffeeville Lock is still experiencing high inflows and outflows through the spillway, causing an outdraft hazard. Mariners are urged to exercise extreme caution when approaching and departing from the lock.
