Beginning on 26 November 2025 and continuing through approximately 15 January 2026, the U.S. Government Contract Cutterhead Dredge ROBERT M. WHITE will be working in the Atchafalaya River in the vicinity of Stout’s Pass between mile 112 and mile 117.

The dredge will work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and will be monitoring VHF marine channels 13 and 16.

Dredged material will be deposited through a floating pipeline into the disposal sites located in Little Island Pass.

Besides dredging equipment, there are numerous work and support vessels associated with this dredging operation.

Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.
