TOMBIGBEE RIVER, ALABAMA CHANNEL OBSTRUCTION ST. ELMOS BAR, MILE 95

Notice is given to mariners that shoaling has been reported on the Tombigbee Waterway in the
vicinity of St. Elmos Bar, River Mile 95. The restricted channel has dimensions of approximately 140ft
wide at 9ft depths. The latest hydrographic survey is attached for reference. Additional surveys can be

The US Coast Guard cutter WEDGE will reset buoys this week. A follow-up bulletin will be sent when
plans are finalized for dredging activities to address the shoaling.
