| Braddock Locks and Dam, Monongahela River Mile Marker 11.3. Closure of Both Chambers | |||||||||
1. TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: Notice is given that on 10 December 2025, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District will be closing the 110-ft x 720-ft primary chamber and the 56-ft x 360-ft auxiliary chamber at Braddock Locks and Dam.
2. DELAYS TO NAVIGATION: The closure will occur on 10 December 2025, from 0800 EST to 2000 EST.
3. The closure is required to support the pulling of power feed cables through the gallery crossover.
4. This closure will cause a river shut-down as both chambers will be closed.
5. Mariners in the area are requested to monitor channel 13 for updates or information during this closure period. |
