The Mechanical Dredge DB Catalina (contractor, Curtin Maritime (CMC) will be performing dredging activities commencing within the Houston Ship Channel starting at R "128" working westbound in the channel to Boggy Bayou.  Dredging operations will commence on or about December 15, 2025, and concluding on or about May 17, 2026. The contractor will be operating 24 hours per day / 7 days per week (Monday through Sunday). Contractor’s related floating plant (barge, split hull Scows, and support tugs) are being used in/around this work area.  All material will be transported in scows to Alexander Island and Lost Lake Placement Areas where an offloading barge will pump the material inside the placement areas.

• Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.
• Communications are to be accomplished via VHF-FM Channels 11,13, 17, and 81. The Traffic Center guards both Channels 11 and 13 on a 24-hour basis. Respective dredge(s) should be contacted for coordination of passing and movement near operations.
