| MULZER – CHARLESTOWN QUARRY MOORING CELL REPAIRS OHIO RIVER MILE 586 | |||||||||
Notice is given that “Mulzer Crushed Stone, Inc.” will commence REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE FOR Mooring Cells 4, 5, 7 and 9. The work includes removal and installation of steel bands, replacement/re-fill of rock inside of the cells, and underwater repairs. Work will occur November 17, 2025 through December 12, 2025. Hours of work will be 0700 to 1700 ET.
The contractor’s floating plant will consist of one 1800 hp boat, 1 crane with clamshell on a barge, and 1 barge for materials. The subcontracted dive team will also have a work boat. Marine channels 74 and 13 will be monitored.
No Impacts are expected to navigation traffic, but mariners are asked to transit the area with caution. |
