| DUKE ENERGY GALLAGHER STATION INTAKE AND DISCHARGE CLOSURE PROJECT |

Notice is given that on August 10, 2023 “Goettle” will start installation of a permanent concrete bulkhead to seal the outfall tunnel off from the river, and construction of a temporary access road along the riverbank for equipment access for Duke Energy Gallagher Station (Ohio River Mile 610). Work is expected to last 3 months.
The equipment will consist of small craft boats to facilitate diving operations, and turbidity curtain in the river near the work area. Hours of operation will be Monday through Saturday 0700 – 1700 EST. |
