John T. Myers Locks and Dam (Ohio River mile 846.0): The Primary (1,200 ft) chamber will be closed intermittently from 30 January through 20 August 2023 for replacement of the Floating Mooring Bitt Tracks.
The Auxiliary (600 ft) chamber will be closed from 21 August through 10 September 2023 to allow miter gate repairs and prep for the Primary Chamber closure by the Heavy Capacity Fleet.
The Primary (1,200 ft) chamber will be closed from 11 September through 17 November 2023 to allow miter gate rehab by the Heavy Capacity Fleet.
Smithland Locks and Dam (Ohio River mile 918.5): The land chamber will be closed from 22 September through 21 October 2023 for the replacement of the land chamber miter gate machinery by the Light Capacity Fleet. The river chamber will be closed from 22 October through 20 November 2023 for the replacement of the river chamber miter gate machinery by the Light Capacity Fleet.
