Notice is given that 04 October 2022 through 30 September 2025, Meuth Construction Supply, Inc. will be conducting construction activities adjacent to the navigation channel at Ohio River Mile 789.0 – 791.3, on the right descending bank. This construction is for a dry commodities transloading facility that will use a conveyor system extending from a hopper mounted on a work barge to a landward storage yard on top of the riverbank. Sixteen tri-tie dolphins will be constructed to anchor the barges along the riverbank.
Construction will be performed from a floating plant. The floating plant will never extend farther than 180 feet from the shoreline (at normal pool).
The construction contractor will monitor Marine Channels 7, 13, and 16.
Mariners should exercise caution when transiting the area. |
