| Lock Closure Lockport Lock and Dam |

1. The Lockport Lock, RM 291, is currently closed to all vessel traffic until further notice. A hydraulic system issue arose during a previously scheduled maintenance activity resulting in the emergency gate being rendered inoperable while the gate was in the closed position. Attempts to address the problem last night by Corps staff were unsuccessful and as a result, a contracting acquisition is currently underway to assist with the hydraulic system repairs.
2. There is currently no estimated time of repair presently - further updates will be shared via amendments to this Notice to Navigation Interests once additional information becomes available.
